3 steps to joining Sky
The process of getting Sky TV installed is straightforward. When signing up with Sky you will be provided with a delivery date upon which a Sky installation engineer will call to your home to fit a mini-dish and any other relevant wiring that may be required for your Sky box. The engineer will also tune in and show you how to use your Sky box.
If you want to upgrade to other Sky box services, a similar process will take place in terms of choosing a set-up date for an engineer to call to your home. If you want to add extra channels to your package, you can do so through your Sky box.
The steps involved in getting Sky TV installed are:
Step 1
Contact Sky and select which packages you want such as ‘Entertainment’, ‘Sky Movies’, Sky Sports’ ‘Sky HD’ among others. Decide how many Sky boxes you would like as the company offer a multi-room option so separate channels can be viewed in different parts of your home.
Step 2
Select a set-up date so that a Sky engineer can visit your home to connect you to the service.
Step 3
A Sky engineer will visit your home and install all relevant equipment such as a mini-dish, Sky box and any wiring that may be needed (it is the engineers responsibility to tidy up afterwards). This should take no longer than an hour to complete and. You will also receive full instruction on how to use your Sky box.
